Purpose
=-=-=-=

SClock displays your local sidereal time, and the RA and dec of the Sun
and the Moon.

Sidereal time is calculated according to the algorithms in Numerical
Recipies in C.

RA and dec values are calculated according to the low-precision formulae
given in the Astronomical Alamanac. Therefore their accuracy may be as
poor as 0.5 degrees (but typically a bit better than this).

Moon RA and dec now have a parallax correction applied, depending on
your latitude and longitude.

Use
=-=

Run the program.

The default latitude and longitude will probably not be appropriate to
your location. Select "Location..." from the menu, and adjust
accordingly. Clicking "OK" will use these values. Clicking "Save" will
also save them to a setup file.

By default the setup is saved to !SClock.setup, but you may declare a
system variable, SClock$Setup, to point to your desired location.

To determine the sidereal time and Sun / Moon locations at a time other
than the present, select "Query..." from the menu. Adjust the time /
date and click "Set". The main clock window will now reflect the values
for the chosen query time. It will revert to normal after 10 seconds or
if the window is clicked.
